Microbiological Safety Cabinets, Class II type B2

(Operator, environment and product protection)

Application

The biological safety cabinet Class II Type B2 is designed for work with agents of biosafety levels 1, 2 and 3. It provides product, operator and environment protection.

The cabinet provides protection of an operator and environment from airborne infection when working with pathogenic biological agents (PBA) and microorganisms including highly (especially) hazardous pathogenic groups by their physical isolation (contamination and controlled removal); minimization of risks of external and cross contamination.

If connected to the individual active exhaust system, cabinet can be used for work with toxic chemical substances and radio nuclides in low quantities and for odor removal from the work agents. Exhaust hood for connection to the exhaust system is supplied with the cabinet.

Standard delivery set incl. the support stand, the pullout UV-unit, arm support, electromagnetic keys (3 pcs.).

Main features:

• No air recirculation in the cabinet and a 100% filtered air removing to the room exhaust system provide an increased safety level of the cabinet Class II Type B2;
• The cabinet has two independent filter-fan units providing air inflow and outflow.
• Contaminated air goes through highly efficient purification and is completely exhausted into external exhaust system;
• Due to connecting with an external exhaust system, the cabinet provides protection from toxic chemical substances and radionuclides.
• Using the audio-visible alarm system, the system of monitoring the cabinet operating modes warns the operator about the air flow imbalance in the working chamber.
• The cabinet is provided with screw supports for stationary fixation at the exploitation sight and with wheels for comfortable movement.
• Positions of the front sash and of the UV unit are controlled by high-precision optical sensors.
• LCD control system indicates system’s initiation, its possible malfunctions, and selected work modes;
• DRIVE-N-ROLL technology allows for smooth and easy way to slide and store the UV unit under the table when operating in the cabinet.A unique pull out UV-unit is included into the basic configuration 

A pull-out UV unit is an unique construction:

- is located outside the working chamber and doesn’t interrupt a laminar air flow

- doesn’t require a special place for storage

- reliable and easy-to-use

- well-adapted for cleaning

- completely covers the front opening of the cabinet within standby time

- is controlled by optical position sensor
